Don’t Miss This Eclipse πŸŒžπŸŒ‘

Prepare for syzygy on Monday, April 8, as the Sun, Moon, and Earth align to give us one of the rarest and most spectacular cosmic events, a total solar eclipse.

We are just two weeks from the total solar eclipse, the last total solar eclipse visible from the contiguous United States until 2044. On Monday, April 8th, a solar eclipse will slice a path of totality across the United States. Everyone in the contiguous US will see a partial eclipse, but for those in or traveling to the path of totality, expect up to 4 minutes of darkness in the middle of the day!

We recently teamed up with NASA JPL Solar System Ambassador (and VASFA friend) Hunter Outten to host a virtual workshop to cover everything about eclipses and this upcoming cosmic event! Even if you could not join us for that, we wanted to share the resources from the workshop. Use them to learn more about eclipses and to plan how you can view this rare event!

Share Your Eclipse Experience

Please share your experience with us by emailing it to stem@vasfa.org. Feel free to share photos and videos! You can also tag us on social media.
